won't drink from sippy cup

in Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months
ds is 14 1/2 mos and still won't drink from a sippy.  he just plays with it and spits out the juice! any ideas?  what type of cup does your dc use? thanks

    Have you tried the Nuby? Aidan will drink juice and water from it, but not milk...that's another story though. Also, he just started drinking from a cup with a straw in it and seems to like that.

    Neither will my 14 month old.. It was really starting to frustrate me but Now I am just going to let her start when she is ready.. I have tried every sippy cup out there!!

    DD wouldn't either. At her 12 month appt. the dr. said to try a straw instead.  We did and she took to that wonderfully.  She's been using a straw cup since.

    I just spoke to my pedi about this and he told me when my DS wants to stop the bottle and drink from a cup he will. He never saw a kid go to kindergarten with a bottle. Just don't give him a bottle with juice or really anything but formula/BM

    I am right there with you.  Mine will drink from one here and there, but not even daily.  I tried his milk in there this morning and that was a big FAIL.  We have tried every cup out there, even the ones with straws
