What about this non-pink bedding for a girl?

I really like this. It has butterflies and dragonflies and polka dots. I think I really like this. We have a white Jenny Lind crib and the room she will be in will be a soft yellow like this one.

I love that bedding!!! I have always liked Kelly Green and I think it's a great non-pink choice for a girl.
I have to be honest and say that I'm not too sure about the yellow walls with it b/c it reminds me of something that I just can't put my finger on. However I can't really think of what color walls would go any better with this bedding either.....except for maybe a pale pink, but it sounds like you might want to stay away from pink or you just don't plan on painting, which is understandable!
House we are moving to is a rental and the walls are already yellow. Im not against pink, I just haven't found anything that catches me. Maybe b/c I have 2 boys already and am so used to blues and greens lol.
Also, I would love to find something green and purple, but nothing I have seen so far just makes me feel like I have to have it kwim?
Yep, know exactly what you mean. Every set I have seen on the internet had something not going for it. I either loved it but hated the price tag. Or there was just something about it that I didn't like. I don't like anything that looks too baby-ish, and that's what most of the stuff in my price range is.
So, since I have a few sewing skills up my sleeves (not a lot, just a few!) I plan to go bargain fabric shopping after I find out the gender (which is this Thursday!) and see if there is anything out there that catches my eye. I plan to buy a sheet that will work with whatever fabric I find, and make the Crib Skirt, a throw pillow for the Chair, Curtains and possibly a Blanket/quilt to match. I know I won't use the blanket in the crib but will possibly use it while rocking or on the floor as a playmat
Anyway, just thought I'd share since I KWYM about nothing catching your eye yet!
I am using this color green for some bedding and the rocker, and we are painting the walls lavender. Hopefully I will have some pics up in a week or two.
Love the green and the polka dots are super cute.
