I'm a wreck

I am having some brown spotting today and am waiting for the nurse to call me back to go in for an u/s this afternoon. My doc didn't seem to concerned but then I called back and asked to come in for an u/s because I know I won't be able to relax until I know everything is fine.

I am absolutely terrified and am literally sitting here in disbelief and have no idea what to do!! I cry one minute and then am ok the next. I can't tell if I'm having cramping because it feels similar to the stretching sensation you feel in early pregnancy in your lower abdomen. I know millions of women spot and have healthy pregnancies, I am just simply numb right now and didn't know what else to do....The wait is killing me!!! Thanks for letting me vent ladies!

I saw your post on 1st Tri Abby, and I've been thinking of you. I can't claim to have been in your situation, but my sister has. She had a m/c at 6 weeks earlier this year, and is now about 8 weeks along. She had some spotting with this pg early on, and the only thing that calmed her down was seeing that little hearbeat racing on the ultrasound.

I hope and pray you get the reassurance you need today. Don't forget to breathe while you're waiting. Wink ::hugs::

I will keep my fingers crossed for you!!! I'm sure it is nothing. I had bright red spotting and actual bleeding at the beginning of this pregnancy and all is still well.

I'm thinking good thoughts for you Abby. I really hope everything is ok. Generally brown spotting is fine, and I think you should feel heartened that your doctor doesn't seem concerned. I hope you can get in for the u/s soon. Keep us updated!

I'm so sorry, I know I would be just as nervous so I hate to say something like "calm down." But try to focus on anything else until it's time for your u/s, you haven't had any red spotting so odds are everything is fine. I'll be sending prayers your way.

I had some red and then brown spotting early on with Handsome. Did you and DH recently have sex or anything? It's super-normal to have this early. I"m sure you are fine..I understand your concern though, keep us posted!!

I'm sorry... I know the feeling! I had tons of bright RED bleeding around 7 weeks & it turned out to be just a popped blood vessel in my cervix. I spotted brown for the next week & everything was fine after that.
