Affordable infant care in Somerville/Cambridge area
Does it exist? I am new to Boston and just started looking, and am getting really scared by the cost. Any help would be appreciated - thanks!

My daughter is currently in a family day care in Somerville on Mcgrath Hwy and I'm very pleased. She has been licensed for 8 years and is bilingual.

Check out the EEC state website and you can searce all daycares (home or centers) in Somerville or Cambridge. You can find many home day cares for $30 to $40 per day. Most if you click on the inididual will list price or hours. I am from Somerville. Both my mom and her best friend ran home licensed daycares for over 25 years. Home daycare is the most affordable. Daycare centers are alot more money. I am going with home daycare just because it's a closer more personal relationship then a center.
