middlename for Alexis...

So I think we are going to go with Alexis but I have no clue as for mn. What do you think?  Super common last name that starts with a C.

    Do you have a Grandmother or Aunt that you or DH were/are close with?  Try those.  I'm a HUGE fan of MNs with meaning rather than just random MNs.

    That is exactly what I was going for but my Dh has shot down all of them.

    That is the close grandmothers and great grandmothers names..

    I agree with this. I told DH it needs to be a family name somehow.. even if we have to go back many generations ;)

    If we go w/ Alexis, she'll probably be Alexis Marie. There are a lot of other family names that I love (Lucille for example) but I felt like they were all a bit much w/ Alexis and that it needed a more simple mn, if that makes any sense..

    BFP 5/07 - Kylie born 2/08.       BPF 2/09 - Alexandra born 10/09.
    TTC since 8/13 - diagnosed difficulty conceiving due to LP defect. Took vitamin B and Vitex Berry to help lengthen.
    BFP 2/14 - Missed M/C found at 8.5 weeks. D&C at 9w2d. Partial Molar Pregnancy.

    I love Alexis Marie!! I already gave Addyson Marie b/c that is my middle name.

    I like Alexis Joan!  Why would your DH shoot that down?  It's just a MN.  Unless you go for something 80s  like Jo not many people use it alongside their FN.

    Girl I have no idea that is what I said to him!!! Joan is my moms middle name. I think b/c the other girls names just flow so well. I will keep working on him!!! Maybe if you girls like it maybe he will go for it. Wink

    don't know if you'll come back to read this.. but I just saw someone mention Alexis Grace and I thought that was really pretty!

    And I get the Marie thing.. I actually have 3 mn and the second one is Marie, so that's why if we go w/ Alexis, she'll be Alexis Marie. DD's mn is my first mn :)
