I've looked through lots of pages on this board and haven't seen this question in a while, so I'm putting it out there. I feel overwhelmed by the choices, so I would love to hear which crib you got/are planning to buy. And what made you decide on that particular crib - price? color? drop side? Thanks for the help!

Re: What crib did you get?
We bought our furniture when we were pregnant with DS, so it's about 3 years old now. I have a love/hate relationship with it. The style is beautful, and it's sturdy. But the finish is AWFUL, and it dings and scratches soooo easily. Also, it's Jardine. I wish I had known then what I know now about that company because I will never buy their products again. Too bad ALL of our furniture is Jardine. It's the Lifetime Madison collection.
We got the Grace Lauren crib from BRU this weekend. It's VERY reasonable at $170, and got really good safety and user ratings (I'm a nerd, I did a LOT of research before registering for this one). It does have a dropside which we may or may not use (but I'm short so wanted the option LOL), and converts to a toddler bed, daybed and full size headboard. Looks more expensive than it was, and seems quite sturdy. I figured can't do better for the money! They also carry the Graco line at Target, I believe. I can't attest to the assembly yet, that's going to be Daddy's job
The matching changing table is cute too and was only like $70 or $80!
We ended up with the Romina Karisma in espresso. Price was not a factor for us, so I was truly just looking for the highest quality product that we both loved. We read numerous reviews and looked at numerous stores and at several brands prior to making our decision. We bought both the crib and the dresser/changing table. Romina is very highly rated, 100% solid wood construction, made in Europe (rather than China), very sturdy, the dresser has very deep drawers that pull out (with full stops) up to about 1/2 inch of the back (this is rare and became almost a game when comparing brands -- some dressers only let you pull the drawers out within 3" or so from the back which makes them harder to get stuff in and out). Also, we bought the convertible crib so our babe will be able to keep this furniture til he's out of high school. Totally worth the $$.
We purchased the furniture for our granddaughter's nursery. It has clean lines, a cherry finish (it's dark and went well with their other furniture) and drop side. It is all hardwood, "William" by Dutailier, a bit pricey.
Here's a link to a picture of the room when they were still in their city condo:
https://www.decorpad.com/photo.htm?photoId=8530We chose the Skylar Crib from PBK. You can see the style here.
We selected it because we are designing a modern nursery and i love how simple the lines are and how neutral it is. We also love that it turns into a toddler bed, and looks like a bed. ( i don't love how some look like daybeds when converted). I also love the drawers at the bottom. The room isn't large, so this is a nice bonus for us. Quality is important and since i work there p/t, i couldn't beat the price! :-0
Babi Italia - Eastside Collection.........We also got the matching dresser/changing table.
Munire Essex in Sienna - can't wait!
