DS has always been right on with Carter's sizing. Right now he can fit in 6mos but usually wears 9mos with room to spare because that's what we have the most of in short sleeved bodysuits.
However, a friend of mine sent him an 18mo Carter's romper (this one https://tinyurl.com/lgdg88 ) and I thought he'd never be big enough to wear it while the weather is warm. Wrong. It fits perfectly. I bought him some of the 2pks that have a short sleeve and a sleeveless together in 12mos, thinking they looked bigger, but when I tried one on him (before washing even) it was too short!
I'm scratching my head on this one.
Re: Anyone else find Carter's rompers run small?
YES! DS has been wearing 12 or 18 months in Carter's clothing, depending on what it is. Honestly though I think maybe their newer rompers are smaller. I know that sounds wierd, but I have some older style rompers that I got from a consignment sale- size 18 months. They fit good, a little roomy even. I bought him the EXACT romper you are have it it fits very tight. It fits him still, but not for long. I bought a few more in a very similar style recently, size 24 months. They fit perfect. But the older ones that I have are about the size of the newer 24 month size.
BTW- I got mine for $5.50 at Costco!
So funny you mention this! Yesterday I put her in one of the outfits from the 2-pack of rompers--same size as she always wears, but I could barely get her arms in it, and it was so tight across her tummy. Maybe I'll try to return them..
Yes, but I find the sleepers running small for some reason when all of thier stuff used to fit her perfectly. At 9mos when we bought her her 12mo sleepers (to get her thru until now) they were already too snug for something that should be lasting her another 3mos.
Yes. I bought 3 of the Carter's rompers in 18 mo sizes and they fit ds now - w/o room to spare.
In other Carter's clothes (his onesies and pants) he wears 12 mo.
Mine too. I've always found Carter's to be big on Chloe. I can still stretch a 3 mo onesie on her. Very strange!
