Summer fabric rec for making a moby wrap

I'm looking for recommendations of cool/breathable fabric that would work well for making a Moby type wrap. I already have one, it's great, my son and I both *love* it. The only problem is we both get way too hot. So any suggestions on a fabric that would hold up well as this kind of wrap but is a bit cooler/more breathable? TIA

Cotton gauze works although it isn't stretchy like the moby of course. You can probably also find a lighter weight knit jersey than what the moby is made of.

There's a seller on etsy.com that does a lightweight gauze Moby wrap. Her name is Loveyduds. I have this and we both love it. I'm finding that I like my homemade shorter wraps more for the summer though. There's not as much fabric involved and I can do a lot more holds.
