Errrr, let me check on my books, I don't remember Kleb being extremelly significant, I remember it being enteric and how to distinguish it from E. coli, but none of my classes went too far on that one. Just a sec. What books are you using right now?
As I imagined, I couldn't find anything relevant about this species in my books, but I found a lot of articles from Nature and Pubmed. Do you have paid access to those? I can download a few articles and send them to your email if you wish.
Go on your school's library website- you should be able to get in to the database to search for full articles for free (you might have to authenticate). You should be able to find a lot of articles on pretty much anything. If it has a name, it's been studied, LOL.?
Re: Long shot...but does anyone have a degree in microbiology
What is clinically significant about Klebsiella mobilis??
Ok, I found a lot of stuff in my Sherris book. just a sec.
Did you look at some articles online for K. mobilis?
dh is a microbiology professor.. too bad he's not home. I wouldn't even know where to look. lol

Aww...that's like telling a kid they can have a piece of candy and not having any candy to give them...LOL
