I have a paper to write on the bacteria Klebsiella mobilis and there isn't much on the internet...any helpful info on it would be great. TIA

  • Errrr, let me check on my books, I don't remember Kleb being extremelly significant, I remember it being enteric and how to distinguish it from E. coli, but none of my classes went too far on that one. Just a sec. What books are you using right now?
  • Ok, I found a lot of stuff in my Sherris book. just a sec.

Did you look at some articles online for K. mobilis?

  • you might get more if you look up "Enterobacter aerogenes"
  • I used Bergey's Manual to look stuff up..

  • As I imagined, I couldn't find anything relevant about this species in my books, but I found a lot of articles from Nature and Pubmed. Do you have paid access to those? I can download a few articles and send them to your email if you wish.
  • Go on your school's library website- you should be able to get in to the database to search for full articles for free (you might have to authenticate). You should be able to find a lot of articles on pretty much anything. If it has a name, it's been studied, LOL.?
  • just wanted to drop in and say:

bless all of you for reminding me i'm not the only nerd out there.  it's so refreshing!!

    :)
