Today has been the nicest day we have had this week, after all of the rain and thunderstorms. So DH and I decided to do some yard work. Which means, he is mowing and trimming and I sit on our new patio furntiure making sure everything is going okay. Well he went over on the side of the house to throw some grass seed down, and calls me over to look at something,

Here on the side of the house we have a huuuuuuuge plant that seriously looks like marijuana. If I could find my camera, I would PIP. I'm frantically searching. LOL. We just bought this house in February, so if it is...it's not ours.

It could be a Japanese Maple. The leaves look pretty much exactly the same.

Also, False Aralia do too..

Yeah, there are some other plants that look similar, LOL. I guess you could wait to see if it grows any promising buds!

One of my good friends, who is a teacher, moved into a rental house late last fall that was across the street from the high school that she taught at. In the spring she noticed about 5-6 marijuana plants growing in her backyard. She said something about it in front of her students and they laughed and one mentioned something about how students use to throw their pot seeds in that backyard because there's a small fish pond back there.
