So BF went to the convenience store this morning to get his usual Rockstar or Full Throttle energy drink. He brought me a cup of coffee, and instead of his normal drink he pulls out this... World of Warcraft Game Fuel by Mt. Dew. being addicted to the game isn't bad enough already... now they want his addicted to all of their sugary drinks?! OMG BF needs and intervention. And I need to get to work on figuring out how to block WoW on our router (I wasn't successful yesterday
)
Re: World of Warcraft Mt. Dew Drink?!
Can you goggle how to do it?
OOOOOOH!!! I will seriously love you forever and ever if he can help! I have to leave for work by 5:45 PST and am hoping to have it done by then. I'll PM you with the steps I took and everything so maybe your DH can have an idea of what I did
Tried this. Also looked at Linksys's website. The directions I was given were very simple, I followed them, but it still didn't work.
He's on a job right now, but let me give him a call and see if he even knows of a way to do this. I would hate to wait forever and then find out he's a dumbass... haha. BRB.
Ah, yeah that's what I've been doing is blocking port 3724... that's the port that WoW uses to access the internet. I'm updating my router's firmware right now so hopefully that will work. I'm 3 hours behind you so it's only 2:30 here right now. I will have another 3 hours before I have to leave
I WILL FIGURE THIS OUT!!!
Because it is a life-sucker. My BF logs on as soon as he wakes up and doesn't log off till about 3am. Last night when I got home from work, I made a sandwich for dinner (it was around 11:30pm). BF asked me to make him one and my reply was "ok, as long as you don't play wow for the rest of the night". He got upset at me just merely suggesting this.
The game has taken over his life. He would rather spend 20 hours in front of his damn computer than 3 hours registering for our baby registries.
Got the picture?
Isn't it going to cause an even bigger fight when you take away his game? I hope you have prepared yourself for that.
My ( soon to be ) ex husband became a game hog. He spent more time on Second Life and WoW than with me. I mean I love WoW and soon will be playing Aion Online. But I obviously have better priorities. His priorities was the game. So.. we are not together anymore. I just hope it works out the way you want it too. Be careful.. people have done some crazy things over games. ::Hugs::
oh wow! Aug 17th ftw!!!
I met another girl on here, Kkenner, who lives about 30 mins from me and has the same EDD as well. We've been meeting once a week to go grocery shopping, or window shopping at the mall, etc. It's nice to have a prego buddy to hang out with!!
And an update on the blockage... so I updated my firmware, reset everything back to the factory settings, re-set up my wireless network (talk about a PITA!), just tried to block the WoW ports again with no luck... GRRRRR.
