Raise your hand if you are taking ZOFRAN

in 2nd Trimester

Just started the generic meltaway ....took one yesterday and it was so bitter on the tongue but it took just enough of the edge off to make me not lay down next to the bucket all day.

just took another one 40 minutes ago...waiting for that to kick in.

 

what are your results?

    I didn't take the orally disinegrating tablets, just the regular.  They worked magic though.  I was told to take it up to 3 times a day before meals & at bedtime.  Once I started on it, I only took it around 2 times a day if that sometimes.  It worked well though, no complaint & no side effects here.

    DD1(4):VSD & PFO (Closed!), Prenatal stroke, Mild CP, Delayed pyloric opening/reflux, Brachycephaly & Plagiocephaly, Sacral lipoma, Tethered spinal cord, Compound heterozygous MTHFR, Neurogenic bladder, Urinary retention & dyssynergia, incomplete emptying, enlarged Bladder with Poor Muscle Tone, EDS-Type 3. Mito-Disorder has been mentioned

    DD2(2.5): Late term premie due to PTL, low fluid & IUGR, Reflux, delayed visual maturation, compound heteroygous MTHFR, PFAPA, Bilateral kidney reflux, Transient hypogammaglobulinemia, EDS-Type 3

    Worked like a charm- only needed them for three days when I had the stomach flu.

    Loved the pills, hated the taste. It was like chemical orange flavor- just not as in-your-face. Meh. It made me able to hold down food again, which was a plus...

    ME!!  I take it every day at 4pm.  It helps me not puke but it doesn't take my nausea completely away.

    LOVE love love them!  One side affect though - they make me really constipated.  (Sorry if that is TMI!)  I talked to my doctor about it though, and she told me to take miralax.  I started that two nights ago, it is heavenly as well.

    I was taking them but they were giving me terrible headaches.  So I stick with my Phenergan and battle being sleepy instead!

    Me! I take the regular pills but they work great!

    I was on it for a week, but took it a bit too late and ended up throwing up half of them. But my M/S problems were compounded by a constant river of drainage that would cause me to gag and throw up.

    I've been taking the regular generic for zofran (not the meltaways) since week 6.5. It cut down my puking from 6 times a day to 1-2 times a day. This medication has seriously been a lifesaver for me. I used to take it twice a day, now I've only been taking it once a day and I just deal with the ridiculous nausea in the evening.
