Anyone else double registering?

I started the registry at BRU then started looking at Walmart and Burlington. I decided to go with both BRU and Walmart because Walmart had a ton of the same stuff as BRU for much cheaper (usually $20+) So I price shopped ALL of our registry items and put the items on whatever site was cheaper....

Is it ok to double register? I am worried people will see it as greedy or something... I don't know?? But in all reality I am just trying to help and save people $$....

    I registered at both Target and Wal-mart, and for a lot of the same stuff at both places.  I think it gives people a choice as to where they'd prefer to shop.  If I get a specific item from one place, I delete it off of the other registry, so I don't end up with two of everything.  It means I have to check it more often, but it's worth it to give people options.

    I don't think it is uncommon to register at 2 places. I did. The bedding set I wanted was only at Target or JCP. I decided to do JCP because Target didn't really have anything in-store that I wanted to register for. Plus the furniture we are getting is from JCP as well. THey also had the high chair deisgn that I wanted.

    With that being said - WM does have things that are cheaper but they may not carry them in -store. I guess it would depend on who the people buying the gifts are. Most of JCP stuff is online only but EVERYTHING at BRU I registered for is in-store availablity. I feel like its an inconvenience for those that are not comfortable or savvy enough to buy online.

    We registered at Target & BRU. We did that because my mom said that it'd not only be easier for our guests, but that you'd (obviously) have a better selection to choose from. Glad we did

    i think that is a good idea. your registry is not really for you, its a convenience item for your friends and family, and the fact that you are making it easier my chicking the items for them BIG plus! also, not every one shops at the same place, two stores is totally acceptible.

    We will be registering at BRU and Target.  DH's family is from a semi small town and they do not have BRU or Buy Buy Baby or any big name baby stores.  They do have a Target, so I thought it would be better for his family to just go there then to make the hour drive to the "bigger" small city where BRU is.

    I don't think it will look greedy. Just look at it as if you are giving them the convenience of getting to chose between two stores.

    Yup and used an early shower date to get the discount for items on the list early in time for July 4th weekend sales LOL!

    I dont anticipate a lot being purchased for us... its just to get the discount for our purchases really.?

    I registered at Target online & Babys R Us in store.  I am also considering putting on the invite that we will also be accepting donations for cord blood registry...

    I am waiting until I find out the gender to register but haven't decided if I'm going to register at more than one place. However, IMO it is perfectly fine to register at a couple different stores. Like you said, people will save money shopping (and you will probably get more items because of that! Bonus!)

    Plus, some stores have different items that you really want.. such as different crib bedding sets and strollers, etc. I think it's nice to have options and one store might be closer to someone than the other.. especially if you have anyone coming from out of town.

    By the way, you look so cute with your little belly! I can't wait until I start looking pregnant like that!
