Lady, I get to see my mommy and daddy!! I'm so flippin excited. ?They are going to be about an hour away on Sunday, my dad has a meeting on Monday, so we are going to drive out to see them! What are your plans??

No sprinkler action. It's been raining. But I've been keeping busy, yeah. How fun to see your mommy and daddy! I miss my parents - they are in Disney so I haven't talked to them in a while. I'm excited for them to get home (even though "home" is still 3 hours away from me).
Disney! How fun! I keep telling my parents that they need to move closer, and they tell me I need to move closer. ?4 1/2 hours is just too far. ?

Yes, I have gotten off the couch....a little. I have not, however, bathed today. What are you doing the scrapbook for, any reason in particular? Our anniversary is Tuesday and I haven't thought of anything fun to get or do for K. Boo.

I didn't get J anything for our 1 year anniversary....or 2 year anniversary...and hopefully by our 3 year anniversary I'll be knocked up and put a freakin bow on my stomach. ?That's what you should do, put a bow on your stomach and call it a day. ?

I could do a bow and be like "Surprise! I'm not just fat, we're having a baby!" and he'll be totally shocked and it will be awesome.
oh yeah, no, i clearly haven't bathed. haven't changed out of my pjs. hell, i don't think i have brushed my teeth (ewwwww.)
it is a late anniversary gift. i am a pack rat and kept EVERY hotel key/resort map/plane ticket, etc from our honeymoon/wedding. so i'm finally doing something with them (the scrapbook) so that i can LET GO of all the leftover stuff. you know, in theory.

getting to see them is a special enough plan.
my parents are 6 hours away, so i feel ya (and when we are in seattle, they are... oh, 14 hours.)
i think pictures can happen, once i have "given" them to DH. granted, i should warn you, i am NOT a crafttastic human being, so it (while lovely and heartfelt) is not going to be a masterwork of scrapbooking.

my DH has been spending hours editing together our wedding video, so i figure a little scrapbooking is the least i can do.
That sounds great, Lady! I'm not a saver, so props on keeping all that stuff. I think *maybe* I still have my wedding dress somewhere.... j/k.
For one of my showers I got a "pre-made" scrapbook for the baby. The pages already have little headings and cute stickers and things attached, so all I have to do is stick on some pictures. I'm very excited because I'm not patient enough to sit and do my own.

yeah, the problem is i am a saver, and then it takes me FOREVER to get around to doing anything with it. oh well, a year later is better than never.
i almost bought a scrapbook for BE to start as well as a "fathers day" gift, and now i'm damn glad i didn't (as i have finished one scrapbook - the honeymoon one- and haven't even started the other.)
Yeah, just keep everything BE ever makes, breathes on, or looks at and make him do his own scrapbook when he's old enough.

so i got this buffalo mac n cheese at Target this week.
i am considering making it for lunch, although there is a very good chance the buffalo spices will make my stomach so heinous that i will regret the choice all night long.)
oh, also, it is made with "blue cheese." (in case anyone is feeling all pregnancy nazi on me.)

no, you are definitely right. it has two degrees of separation 1) it's not from Buffalo and 2) it IS from Target. two strikes.
i am planning on enhancing it with some grated cheese of my own though, woot!

okay, i have to "AW" or just "SE" (i just made that one up, SE = Share Excitement) with you both now.
my DH has been out of town all week at callbacks for a production of Peter Pan... it would be an amazing show for him as it would a) fill a big spot in his season (and therefore increase our financial security for the year) and b) is a really amazing theatre to work for and he wants to get to know them better.
so he just called and he is at the last day of callbacks, and the day is ending with him (JUST him, no other guys) reading as Peter with two different Wendys. pretty awesome. that doesn't mean anything really, but it is a darn good sign that things are going well up there and i am SO excited for him.
