So I have a bag full at Old Navy online, but since my local Old Navy store doesn't carry any mat clothing I'm really not sure what sizes to order! See I have this problem with really big bb's, so normally I buy a lg, but lately a xl is the only thing that fits the girls...lucky me. So anyways, how do their mat clothing sizes run?? I just hate to order all xl and have them be too big or all lg and have them be too small....

Re: Old Navy maternity clothing??
It's not so much that they run big, but they're made (for the most part) out of super stretchy cotton jersey, and the shirts spread. I wish I had gotten a size smaller than normal, personally; the t-shirts I have fit perfect right out of the dryer, but once I've had them on for an hour or so, they're starting to sag and look baggy and sloppy (particularly around the arm holes).
If what you're getting isn't 100% cotton, or is woven instead of knit, it's probably truer to size. In my own experience, all of Old Navy's 100% cotton knit clothing stretches waaaaaay too much.
Phew! Thank you so much ladies! I had a feeling that they ran big, and i was so worried about ordering all xl, so I switched them down to lg and hopefully that will work out ok.
New question now!
What the heck is french terry?? Is that like sweat pants type materical? I want a pair of shorts to wear around the house that are sweatpants type material... thanks!
Honestly, you won't need the bigger size (most likely). I've had my shirts since about 4 months, and at 38 weeks, they still stretch out a ridiculous amount... and I am FAR from small lol.
French terry is like smooth on the outside, and little loopy things on the inside (like a terry cloth bath towel). It's lighter in weight than fleece, which is what sweats are typically made from.
I felt like they ran big.
