just got off the phone with the billing department of the uro...if dh has to have the TESE done it is $4,000!!!  not to mention my RE's costs associated with that (another $1,750).  so not good.  that would wipe out all my fertility benefits (along with this up coming round of ivf) in one shot.  everything after that would have to be OOP.  i'll say it again--i hope we don't need the TESE!!!!

    If it makes you feel better, if I have NO fertility coverage. That's right, my glorious, much coveted, federal government benefits provide me with $0 of coverage. Apparently since La doesn't require it, the insurance company isn't providing it.

    we unfortunately won't know until the day of my retrieval, after he gives his fresh sample...they will look at that one, look at the two we will freeze, and then decide if they are good enough or not...i won't know until i wake up from the anesthesia  Tongue Tied

    I hope you get lucky.

    I didn't have any either and planned on moving to my husband's in October.
