I command this virus back to hell from whence it came! Seriously. How am I still sick?!? The doctors are upping my medicine today so hopefully that will help. They think that my immune system is so shot from the pregnancy that it's taking me a long time to recover. Luckily none of this is affecting the babies. I saw them this morning and they were bouncing all around on the ultrasound. I'm just glad I'm in the hospital because something is wrong with me and not them! I MAY go home Sunday or Monday, depending on if the increased medicine works. Fingers are crossed!!!

Re: Hospital Day 5 - Curse you, C-Diff!!
Sorry you are still feeling bad. C-diff is awful...and can take awhile to get over.
Get well soon!!

Ditto. It sounds like you actually have pseudomembranous colitis caused by c. diff toxin, to be more specific. It's definitely very hard to recover from, and takes a good long while.
It sounds like they're treating it with the appropriate drugs, and I'm glad the babies are doing well!
