  We've got white siding with hunter green shutters...the door is red (it feels like Christmas!) and I'm having a hard time thinking about painting the door hunter green.  Maybe I just need new shutters!

  DH just made a good point...our roof is hunter green as well, so I don't think changing the shutters is going to work!

  We have white siding- I've repainted the door/shutters twice.. first it was light taupe- too light, looked weird. Now it is dark chocolate brown. I'm still not crazy about it. Our shingles are dark brown. Our neighbors have ivory siding with black shutters- very nice.
