(XP to 6-12mo board)
About a month ago, my 8mo (in one week) DD started waking up multiple times each night. We attributed it to teething (she got her 2 lowers at 6 months, so we assumed the uppers were coming in), gave her tylenol and soothed her back to sleep. She used to sleep almost all the way through the night and sometimes woke up once or twice. We never did Ferber. She just fell into the natural pattern.
Now, it's 4 weeks later and the night waking now includes a night feeding. She wakes up every night at 3:30a SCREAMING and nothing will sooth her but the boob. I am afraid we have created a pattern now and she expects to be BF when she wakes. I try to fill her full of food and BM before she goes to bed at 7:30p in the hope that she wont' wake up, but she always does.
Every night, I go to bed hoping that tonight's the night that she goes back to STTN.
Anyone else deal with this? Advice? THANKS!

Re: XP: 8mo back to night waking and night feeding?
Babies go through these weird stages where they sleeping just changes for no reason. DD is 3 1/2 and her sleep patterns would randomly change for about a week and then go back to the old schedule.
Hopefully that is the case with you.

OMG I could've totally written that post. DD is 8mo old today and she now wakes up an hour after falling asleep and then again 1-2 times a night. I think I'm gonna break down and Ferberize in about a month. I too try to stuff her full of food before bedtime but she still wakes up and the boob is the only thing that works to put her back down.
I have no advice, but I'm glad to know my DD is not the only one doing this!
