He is one that I have met before. He is so awesome.

So. I am once again "borderline" for anticardiolipin which is one of the clotting factors. My 1st OB tested me (november)  due to a possible family history and it came back borderline, which I have read can be common. I was retested a few months later (February) and it came back ok.

Now I am retested and its coming back borderline again. the on call guy says he doesn't know if my OB will want me to go to infertility doc or what he will want to do next since it is borderline and not a strong positive.

He said everything else looks normal.

atleast I can sleep tonight knowing that much. And I can google even though the last time I did that i got the bejeebus scared out of me. And I can make my list of questions for my real OB for tomorrow.

    omg, i love that man too. That was soooo nice of him to call you.  I'm glad that he did. This way, as you said, you'll now know what to ask your OB to get a plan for the next time!!!

    I think "borderline" is better than a strong positive and much more "dealable"

    just got home and am catching up on my posts - omg - that sucks that the nurse was such a b**tch to you earlier! I'm SO glad you got answers though from the on call doc !  

    GL tomorrow and I"ll be thinking of you !

    I'm glad you have a possible answer.  Hopefully your OB can give you some more information to go on so you know what the next step is.
