On hold with the urologist's office. He is apparently in appts until 8:00 pm tonight, and not in the office tomorrow. He works one day a week I guess?
I speak to his nurse after pushing for an answer of what I should so to ensure a call since it had already been a week.
Apparently, the doctor is requiring my husband to eat a diet rich in antioxidants for a minimum of three months before even recommending varicocele treatment, and he is recommending ICSI IVF as the preferred alternative to varicocele surgery.
I need a bottle of wine and a good cry. I guess we start saving for ICSI as soon as H has a job. Maybe I will get lucky and his future new job will have IVF coverage.

Is there only one urologist in your area? Seems crazy that the doctor is so busy that he can't get back to you in a week.
What does a diet rich in antioxidents look like? Lots of berries??

I'd find another urologist, if you can.

give your H broccoli with cheese. that's how i get MH to eat his veggies. you have to disguise it - like with a child.
