making this bedding girly?

I really like this bedding.  How can I make it girly or is that not possible?

I think it's gender neutral so you should be fine.

  • Paint your walls pink. Or:

Play more off of the pink in the pig square than the blue in the other squares.  Pick accents for the room that are the same color pink as the pig or its nose (a darker pink)--draw the attention to pink.

    Hope that helps!

  • Use white furniture, that seems to add a feminine touch.

Use pink accents in the room.

    Add some girly artwork.

I think it's gender neutral so you'll be fine!?

  • I think you're okay but I agree with PP re: girlie decorations and white furniture.

  • You you could play up the rose/burgundy color that's in one of the squares. You could make the hanging things have pink ribbons or stitch little pink bows onto some of the animals (not on the quilt of course).

I think it's pretty gender neutral, but way not girly. I'm sure whatever you do will be cute!!!

  • it is country-ish -- so how about checkered red/white or pink/white sheets/drapes?  Also you could put prarie flowers (sunflowers, etc) in the room decor.

I have a gender neutral bed set (pop monkey) and am sprucing it up with flowers.
