FIL strikes again - now he's a "mommas boy"

Because I breastfeed him. 

No dimwit, hes a mommas boy beccause I ROCK.  Duh.  

(FIL hates that I BF and constantly tries to get me to stop.)

    what a loser! I am sure he's just jealous, maybe his mom didn't breastfeed him. P.S. your son is so cute, if my DS was a girl, I would totally try to make the long distance thing work for them !Big Smile

    Can you not see him?  Seriously.  I'd not spend time w/ him and if he asked why, I'd very clearly say "Stop commenting on my choice to BF and then we'll spend time with you."

    Can you not see him?  Seriously.  I'd not spend time w/ him and if he asked why, I'd very clearly say "Stop commenting on my choice to BF and then we'll spend time with you."

    I see him as little as possible - maybe 2x a month.  

    I've already told him I have no intentions of stopping and that his son fully supports it.  DH backs me up everytime.  I just have to laugh at his ignorance now.  I think I'll BF Ben till hes 2 now just to spite  him!

    Too bad for you that you have to deal with that. I just really don't get at all why people feel the need to comment about BFing. I have a co-worker who literally laughs every time I walk past her desk with my bag of pump parts. Sometimes she'll even say "eww...gross" under her breath (as if I can't hear!) And it's not like you can see what I have in the bag - I keep my pumping as discreet and private as possible. I'll just never understand why some people have a problem with BFing!!!

    I fail to understand why someone would "hate" that someone breastfeeds their child?  I wish I was successful at it!

    Does your FIL also "hate" when puppies nurse from their momma?  When a calf nurses on an udder?

    He sounds like a peach.

    How immature. If bfing is not for you, then by all means don't do it.  But to say that it's gross for someone else to do is ridiculous.
