Success after IF

Update: Still in hospital

I have an infection called C-Diff. They are giving me meds, Zofran for nausea, probiotics and IV fluids. I'm a tad better but not much. I am sick of being sick. The good news is that the babies are doing just fine!

  • I'm glad to hear your babies are all OK in there. Hopefully being in the hospital will help you get back to healthy ASAP.
  • as a nurse, I would suggest that any visitors use the hallway toilet, and wash their hands like mad coming in and out of your room. CDiff spreads like you wouldn't believe, usually via poopiedoops.

Sorry you're dealing with it... happy the babes are great!

Yup! I'm isolated here and everyone who comes in the room needs to wear gloves and a gown.

  • was it pamela matt who said it sounded lik cdiff, never haeard of it, but I know the girls on the other board said it could be that.

I don't know anything about it, but glad you are getting it treated and it sounds like it is GI related and not affecting the babies.

keep the faith in the hospital - we are thinking of you!!!

  • Oh no - I'm so sorry you're sick.  Hope you're feeling better soon - glad the little ones are doing well!!
