My son has been screaming for the past few hours. He has been fed, swaddled, had his paci, changed, burped, and rocked and is still crying! I'm running out of ideas and ready to cry myself. I was thinking maybe gas? I just don't know.
Do you have a Moby? Or any similar wrap? That always works for me ... especially when DS was that young. Good luck! I know how frustrating that can me - we've all been there.
When I took a baby basic class before having DS, the teacher said that if you baby is really fussy and will not calm down and you have tried all the basic things like you have said. Either go into your bathroom and turn on the shower and the noise will help calm them down, or even get in it with them and just hold them under the water. This works wonders for my DS, he loves the warm water being on him. Hope you find something that works!
I thought it could be allergy too, we are breast feeding. He has been eating most of the day so I don't think he is hungry. I have tried feeding though.
The lights are dim in our room but I will try some music.
Can you use gas drops at this age? I thought you had to wait.
oh, the crying at this age is so hard! Try to quietly talking to him, while walking. That would do it for our DS. Good luck and it does get so much easier than this!!!
Do you have a stability ball? When DS was that age, we would hold him and bounce on the stability ball--he liked the up and down movement compared to the typical back and forth. It worked like magic every time. I'd try more milk as well, and maybe go outside for a moment--the change in temp might startle the baby and "reset" him.
Hold him and vacuum your house. It sounds insane, but my baby was extreamly fussy and the only thing that calmed him down was the vacuum. We also would put him in the swing or bouncy seat and vacuum. We even slept with the vacuum next to our bed. GL!
I've found the closer and tighter I hold DD, the better. Also, if she is turned so she is slightly tummy to tummy that helps.
I also read that holding a baby on your chest (like they are laying on their tummy on your chest) so they can hear your heartbeat can soothe them...reminds them of the womb.
Re: DS won't stop crying
Could he still be hungry? You could try some gas drops. Ditto on the wrap! Maybe a car ride?
Are you breast or bottle feeding? Could it be an allergy. I would call the pedi in the morning if it continues!
Good luck!

Try adjusting the temperature, too. He may be too hot or too cold. Also see if any seams on his clothes could be bothering him.
You might also try taking his temperature in case he's sick.
