J5 seems to be having trouble getting through a 6 oz bottle. It's like his attention span isn't long enough. He'll eat 2 oz then start to push the bottle away and try to sit up. I can get another oz in him before he starts to get upset about it. Then if I let him play for 15-20 mins, he'll do another 2 oz. Two weeks ago he would eat 6 oz at a time no problem. WDYT?
Re: Bottle feeders: Is this a sign to go up a nipple size?
Yeah, we went up a size a couple of weeks ago for the same reason. It seemed like the newtlet was eating on and off all day long.
He's much happier now, and puts away a 6 ounce bottle in ten minutes if he isn't distracted. Dribbles more, though, and you have to burp him like crazy!
Def. try going up a size. What level are you using?
Give it a shot; however, Leo has the same problem. Sometimes he gobbles the full 6 oz in like 5 minutes flat; other times it takes him an hour, on and off, with playtime in between. I think they are just really easily distracted at this age.
