when did you start finger foods?

I just gave her little bits of pancakes and she loved them. She is not interested in picking them up at all with her fingers just her whole hand.

    It takes awhile for them to work on that grasp. Depending on the size of what he's picking up, DS will still use his whole hand.

    Sounds right.  The whole hand goes in the mouth and he gets the food out. 
    Stay at home mom to a house of boys: two amazing stepsons, 12 and 9, and our 4 year old.

    It takes a while for them to learn to use their fingers.  Just keep letting her practice and she'll get better!
