Awwing my DS (bear with me)

I have to aw my 3 year old a bit because I'm so proud of him.  Last night I was reading a book to him (called Basil and Parsley - about two mice) and there's a pic of the two mice, one with a "B" shirt and one with a "P" shirt.  I asked J which one was Basil and which one was Parsley.  He pointed to the "B" shirt mouse and said "that's Basil" and then pointed to the other and said "that's Parsley".  I asked him how he knew that and he said "because Basil has a "B" on his shirt and Parsley has a "P").  !!!!!

Then this morning in the car I asked him what his address was and he sang his song all by himself, "my name is Jack ____ and this is my address_____________ California".  Awesome!  We sing the song all the time but he's never done it on his own and in response to the question!  He then went in and sang it to the two morning teachers at his preschool.

Next is to make up a song with my cell # in it.  =)

    Awe!  That is so cute!  What a smart lil' boy you have! 

    I can't believe mine will get there some day!!  Hard to imagine right now! :)

    They start to do such fun things at this age!! How cute. My DS is getting there....he knows our town so far and I think recognizes some letters.

    I can't wait until DS can do all that stuff as well.  My cousin has a little girl who is starting kindergarten this fall and it is so fun to watch all she can do.  We were over there a few weeks ago and she was making nametags for all of us since she knows how to write her letters.
