XP: Bleeding after c-section?

I am 4 weeks post partum. I only bled for a little over a week after my c-section, never really heavily. Today, I started bleeding again - dark red blood and it's about the amount of a light period. Any one else have the same experience? Is this AF coming back already? I am exclusively breast feeding. Should I be concerned?

    I don't think you need to be concerned. ?I bled for 6 weeks after my C-section so its quite possible that it is still post-birth bleeding. ?It *could* be AF but that is pretty doubtful.

    You might want to call your doc just in case, they might be able to check you to tell you what is going on.

    i also bled for 6 weeks after my c-section.  it stopped and started again a couple of times.  i then got my first AF at 9 weeks and i EBF as well.

    My bleeding stopped and started again.  It went on for about 5 weeks.

    If it gets heavy, call your doctor.

    Every time I think my bleeding has stopped it comes back again... As long as it doesn't get too heavy I don't think you need to be concerned.
