Success after IF

BFers - the keep growing and growing...

I have the Energizer boobs, apparently.  They are huge and seem to get huger by the minute.  I'm desperate to get fitted for a good nursing bra, but I don't want to spend the money until I'm pretty sure they aren't going to get any bigger.  When did yours stop growing and settle into their new (and ginormous) size?

Thanks!

  • 6 weeks is the average time that most womens milk supply is fully established.

  • Mine were 'calmer' around the 3 week mark.  They did decrease some in size over the year I nursed...but not much.

  • I'm thinking you're probably safe around 2-3 weeks.  I'd just buy one really nice one to start though, and you can always buy more later! :)

  • Mine thankfully don't get so engorged and they don't feel like they have rocks in them anymore but they are ginormous!  I'm not sure how much bigger they can get.  Good luck!

  • Thanks for posting - I was wondering the same thing. I feel like I got this huge boob job, me and my DH keep laughing about it.
  • Mine sorta calmed down somewhere around 2-3 weeks, but then I had a weird growth spurt around 2mos....who knows why. Had to go and get more BIG bras then. :(
