Beach gals

I know several of you are taking beach vacations with your LOs this summer. Did you get one of the small tent things to have your LO under. We are going to Cabo so we are limited on what we can take. I wanted something to protect DS from the sun. Any suggestions of what to get or what not to get? I know we have several months, but I like to be prepared.

    My parents have one, so we're bringing that ... but I've seen some really great pop-up ones at BRU/TRU that fold down into this little circle thing.  You could easily fit it in a suitcase  ... I think they were like $30?  :)

    I know a lot of beaches in FL have kiosks (sp?) that rent cabanas and chairs etc, you might want to check that out if you are cramped on space :o)
