4. do i need an insert for a heavy wetter
5. any other advice you may want to give me
yep i really do know nothing about them. i have some super cute, pockets, so i wont be totally lost if i dont get pfs, im just exploring my options.
Re: PF's okay okay...tell me about it
1. search YouTube and you'll find quite a few videos to help you learn how to do different folds.
2. Yes, your DH will be able to use them if he's willing to learn. My DH took only about 2 times of me showing him and he was a pro.
3. yes, if you get the right size they will fit a newborn. Probably better than your cute pockets at first.
4. You wont need an insert for a newborn. We still don't use anything in addition to the PF during the day.
5. Good luck!
1. We primarily use the angel wing and jelly roll folds. You can find tons of directions by googling.?
2. For a long time after pockets fit DD, DH reached for the pfs anyway. Tons of men use them with no problem. Tell him to suck it up and do it ;p
3. These are the only things we used until DD was big enough for pockets. We got the nb size and they were fine. Remember, this is all people had before sposies were invented.?
4. You could put a doubler in there, but we did not find it necessary. You can also double up on pfs. If you do use some kind of insert, make sure it isn't microfiber.
5. Snappi!
Let me tell you a little story...
When we got home from the hospital with DD, she was in a sposie. I was all prepared to go online and follow folding directions. Before I got that far, DH grabbed the baby, a diaper and a snappi and just went for it. From then on, she has only been in CDs. My advice to you is to just dive in and try not to over think things.?
