Storing milk in standard plaxtex liners?

My cousin gave me all her Playtex drop-ins supplies since her DS never took a bottle. In it was a pack of standard liners (not the pre-formed ones). The package says that they can be used for storage, so I was hoping they would be self-sealing but they aren't. Does anyone know how to store in these? Would I use the same storage kits I have been using with the pre-formed liners? Thanks!

Yes, you can use the same kit you have been using, but double bag it.

I bought some thinking that I could use them for storage like the box says. I called the company and they told me to either use rubberbands or twist ties and double bag them.
