Hey ladies....I posted last Thursday about my first ivf and how I was probably getting cancelled. Several of you took the time to respond and offer words of wisdom and encouragement so I wanted to post a quick update.
I am on day 14 of stims today...I finally have some measurable follies....eight measuring 10 and two measuring 11. The dr isnt going to cancel me yet. I go back on Wed for another check. He is keeping my meds at 300 of menopur and 300 of bravelle, 5 of lupron. He did mention that extended stimming could result in lower egg quality so I guess that is something to be concerned about but right now I am feeling hopeful.
Thanks for all of your encouragement last week and if you have a similar story that was successful I would love to hear it. TIA. ![]()
Re: Update on slow response to estrogen priming protocol
I am glad to hear that your cycle wasn't cancelled. I have to say the IVF where I stimmed the longest, I had the least amount of eggs fertilize, but it is the one where we got our BFP. We transferred 4 and 3 took and we lost one at 8 weeks. Hang in there:)
I am surprised though he is keeping you on lupron. It seems completely strange to me. We didn't do any lupron at all for our EPP because it surpresses you.
