Can you cook pork chops in crock pot?

How? I really don't want to heat up the house with the oven.

  • You can cook anything in the crockpot.

I'd either dump BBQ sauce on top of them and let them cook, or make a mushroom soup mixture and dump that on.

  • I make a cajun pork chop in mine:

     Pork Chops

Small bottle of Wishbone Italian Dressing

1/2 cup each of chopped onions, green bell peppers, pickled jalapeno's

Tony Cachere's Cajun Seasoning to taste

1/2 bottle of Lousiana Hot Sauce

Serve over a bed of rice.

  • Do the pork chops have to be in a single layer, or can you stack them? Hmm. Magnolia, that sounds delish!

  • You can stack them, I do that with mine.

  • I ran across this blog, A Year of Crockpotting, and she has several pork links.  I haven't tried any yet, but there are lots of crock pot ideas.

Just did this on Thursday. ?Turned out great. ?I used frozen pork chops and dumped a bottle over them. ?Cooked on high and they were done in only 4 hours. ??
