DH left today for a business trip and will be gone for 5 days! I get so freaked out at night when he's gone. It doesn't help that my dog gets super protective when he's not home and barks and growls at every little noise.

Plus, I start my new job tomorrow. ::sigh:: I kinda wish he was here for support. Oh well...

Same here! The first night DH was gone, I turned off the light and puppy dog growled.

Every night from then on, the light stays on and puppy dog is in bed with me.?

Me too. My husband left for his annual army training. He'll be gone for two weeks. Boo!

My BIL is in the military and I totally don't think I could cope with being a military wife. I have tremendous respect for those who sacrifice so much!
