okay...i'm having a very heavy period this cycle. how likely is it to miscarry and never know you were pregnant? and would it hurt a lot(physically, i know it would emotionally)?

i've been extra crampy and passing clots. two days ago i soaked through a Pleat overnight pad in about 3 hours :-/ I'm just wondering if i should check in with a doctor or what. i don't think there's anything anyone could do, and i have an appt on Thursday to see my PCP anyways...should i just mention it there? paranoia has been high lately and i'm worrying/stressing over everything, so help convince me i'm not dying.

I would probably see my doctor. A few of my friends have had missed miscarriages and they were similar to what you're describing.

You can at least get betas drawn to ease your mind. (((hugs!))) Hope its just a fluke and all is well.

I had a missed miscarriage like that before Xavian. The cramps had me doubled over in pain. I went to the OB and they said there was nothing they could do but give me pain meds & make sure the next cycle was normal. If the next cycle was abnormal or I ran a fever after I quit bleeding or if I bled for more than 10 days, then to come back in to schedule a D&C to make sure my body got it all out.
