DH can be so dense, but cute!

Yesterday, DH and I were with my DD shopping at Target. We had to buy the breast pump and travel system. I wanted to get the pump now b/c they had it on sale (Medela in-style for $249).
He picks up the box and asks me when I am going to start pumping and freezing the breast milk in anticipation of the baby. I just started cracking up and said that my milk won't come in until the baby comes!
He looked puzzled and said that it would be better if we could get a jump on it and what could we do to get my milk to come in? I had to explain that my instincts tell my brain to produce the milk after the baby is born. With DD, it was the day after I had her and I was taking a shower, then BAAM!!! Giant, leaking breasts!!!
Thought he was cute!

my dh needs some lessons in female anatomy and hygene apparently... we were at labor and delivery (had some fluid leaking) and they gave me the lil cup to collect urine in as well as a sanitary wipe to clean the area prior to collecting the urine...and the nurse said make sure to wipe front to back when cleaning
dh said what does she mean front to back? and i looked at him like what do you mean, what do you mean? and i had to explain why women typically wipe front to back to avoid spreading bacteria into the vagina lol....
he just looked at me like i was crazy- and said he had no idea
i laughed and now know that i have a long road to helping him take care of a baby girl lol
