At what point did you buy them?
Adam is what I call a stepper... still cautious and wobbly, but he can make his way across a room and back. I can see him using his toes and trying to figure out footing still, so I'm not quite ready to put him in shoes.
I asked at Stride Rite, but never got a good answer. The lady wanted to sell me shoes for a pre-walker.
Re: If you waited to buy shoes til your kiddo was walking
We bought shoes for DD when she was walking easily for a few weeks. Walking easily means that she could go all around the house without falling or hesitating.
I love my crazy child!

I had DD in Robez until she started to walk more steady, now shes in some half/hard half soft shoes that I bought at target. She is to the point where she is learning to run now and we just tried completely hard soled shoes and she did can actually walk in them now.
IMO stride rite is over rated....
Ditto, but we use pedipeds, not robeez
