ugh...family party time... (vent)

i love my family...well most of them...but i'm totally dreading the christening today for my cousin's DD.  i know i'll hear a dozen times "you're next!" or "when are you guys having a little one??"  i think i'm just going to tell all of them that we changed our minds, and decided to wait a year to try.  then maybe they'll stop asking...?

    Just tell they that you will have the "little ones" when you are ready, not when they are. It works every time.

    I am hate when family says that. It does suck!

    I hear ya.  We had a family gathering yesterday and it took all of 10 minutes for everyone to ask about our baby plans.  I hear it every month and it's getting on my nerves.  My standard answer has become, "we'll see what happens".  Doesn't help that step-brother and wife announced their pregnancy a few days ago...so it was nothing but baby talk at dinner.

    goodness, that's aweful!  so sorry for that. 

    i sure hope there aren't any announcements today.  although my one cousin and his wife are expecting, and due in october...so i'm sure she has started showing and people will be talking about all of that.

    Nobody in our families know that we have started trying and yet whenever we are with them and something as little as a baby comes on TV they start talking about how it probably won't be long know for us...I just put on a tight smile and say that I guess we will see. ?Times like this I am so glad we decided not to tell anyone that we are TTC

    Ugh, I know what you mean.  I don't know how many times in the last few months I've heard "you're next".  It gets old after awhile.
