Total AW: Got a kick-a$$ internship for next year!!

I took this year off of school (for obvious reasons), but I am completely done with my Ed.S. (in school psych) except for a full-time internship in a school district. ?My very first graduate supervisor (and now very good friend) is in a great district about 20 minutes from my house. ?She fought HARD to get approval for an intern for next year. ?I found out Tuesday that I got the internship, and found out yesterday that they got funding approval! ?Granted, I will make less than we will be paying for daycare (ridiculous), but it is better than nothing. ?It is the only position that I applied for, since the others are all an hour or more of a drive, so I was really worried that I wouldn't get it or that it wouldn't get approved by the district. ?I am so excited!

That's wonderful -- yea! And I'm glad you'll be making something doing your internship since that's not always the case, though I'm sorry it's not more money. I visited my former school yesterday and I missed them all a ton -- I hope you love being in the schools next year!
