I just purchased this convertible car seat and am wondering if I am installing it right. It seems like the car seat has to tip back quite a ways rear facing in order for the lines for leveling to be parallel to the ground. I had to take the base off too. That doesn't seem right to me as my seats don't have much of a slope to them (if at all.) Anyone else have this problem and how important is it for the line to be level with the ground...I assume it is for head support in a younger baby....my guy is almost 8 months now. Other car seats I looked at such as the Evenflow Triumph didn't even have a leveler like this.
Re: Alpha Omega Elite Carseat Question
Sorry, but that seat is a piece of junk. Take it back and get something worth while. The Evenflo Triumph Advance is a great seat, as are the Britax seats, the First Years True Fit, Graco My Ride 65, and the Cosco Scenera.
I don't know anyone who gives that seat a good review. Like pp stated, this seat is often outgrown early and makes an uber crappy booster. So not worth the money.
