What's on your to-do list?

What's on your to-do list before baby arrives?  I finish up the school year next week and baby isn't due until August.  What are some of the all-important things that I need to do before a baby complicates my life? :)  Not just baby things.... house related? marriage related? yard related?  Any ideas?  I keep thinking of ideas in passing and forgetting to write them down!  Now that I'm making a list I can't remember any of them!

    We have a huge storage closet that majorly needed to be organized.  I did that this week (I just got done teaching for the summer).  I still need to wash all the baby clothes and buy a few more little things to prepare for her.  I'd like to go out on a date or two with DH before she arrives also.

    Hang photo frames, Clean room to make room for Glider & Bassinett, Install Car-seat, Clean SUV, Set up Nursery (we recently moved DS to a big boy room so we'll set up the crib bedding/mobile), Organize closets, Pack Hospital Bag, Order nursing tanks, Buy new camera, Steralize nipples/bottles & paci's, Pack DS bag to stay at my parents for a month... All I can think of right now.  =)

    I will be washing out and reorganizing all the cupboards in my kitchen.  Also washing/wiping down walls/lightfixtures/doors/windows.   That's what's on the list anyway... we'll see what actually gets accomplished!

    Finish moving into the house and unpacking. It's a huge undertaking.

    Of course we have a long list- but I really want to donate/trash anything in the house we do not need.... we neeed more space!!

    I wish I had time and energy to organize all the closets and cabinets. Some look better than others but they all need to be organized.

    Also on my list: nursery (too much to do), organize my closet at least, we have cleaning service but still there is more cleaning to do.  We will clean the SUV, put the carseat in it, assemble the swing, wash the last pieces of clothing and bedding for DD. Those are a few things I need to do.

    Light fixtures/curtains/baseboards are getting wiped down and washed.  DH's 16-year-old niece is coming down for three days next week and is going to do my deep cleaning to do list that I just can't do anymore.  She is about $1000 away from being able to get the car she wants, so we're going to pay her a couple hundred bucks to be my cleaning you know what for three days.  She is so excited to earn that much (and hang out with her super cool aunt) and I am excited because DH tries to do things like that but does a half-ass job at them:)>

    We still have to assemble the swing, DH has to vacuum the whole house, I need to dust/clean our den, I have another load of baby clothes to do, put up wall quote, assemble crib (LO is going to be in the bassinet and we had issues with a damaged crib!)

     

    My list has gotten so much shorter since I have been home this week!
