VBAC anyone?

I delivered by C-section at St. Joe's with Dr. Pearson. ?I heard he is open to VBACS, and want to discuss it at our next appointment...but the doula I met recently says the hospital is not supportive of them...just wondering if anyone here has had a VBAC, how it went, what hospital you deliverd at, and who your doctor is.

TIA!?

Speaking as a Childbirth Educator, it really is up to your doctor.  If the same indications don't exist that caused the C-section with your first, you should be allowed to attempt a VBAC.  If your doctor doesn't agree, you can find another doctor who will.  As long as you had the low bikini cut without complications the first time, you are in good health this time and the same indications don't exist, the chance of successfully giving birth vaginally are 99.95%.  I teach Lamaze classes at Holy Cross (St. Joes sister hospital) and most of the doctors are open to it there, in my experience.
