Busy but Exciting 2???s

Can't wait for this evening.  I am getting my 4D ultrasound this evening (Does anyone know the difference between 4D and 3D?)  Before this I am doing my 1 hour glucose test then I have a dr. appointment and am going to check out the hospital I will deliver in (it's different from the one I delivered DD in).  My dr. gave me the drink at my last appointmet to take home and drink an hour before I go to my appointment.  That is different from the last pregnancy, not that I am complaining, I don't have to sit around for an hour, just time myself exactly.  Has anyone every been given the drink to take at home?

    I did, it was a lot nicer than having to sit in the waiting room at the lab for an hour to get my blood drawn.  I suggest drinking with a straw, helps it go down faster! :)

    Yep I was able to drink it at home and then go to the the dr's office to get tested right away. I failed my 1 hr so the 3 hr was a differnet story. Have fun today and good luck!

    Yeah, it is nice not to have to sit around esp. since my DD will be there with me.  I never tried the straw, I just drank it in one gulp as fast as I could the last time.  It made me very nauseous.

    Not me, the lab tech told me I had five minutes to chug it and sat there the whole time and watched me chug it. By the way, your daughter is absolutely adorable.

    I had 5 mins to chug mine & then I was told I had to stay put, I couldn't even get up to change the channel on the TV in the waiting room.

    I did it that way both times (two different doctors).  That would suck to have to sit around in a waiting room wasting time.
