I put Olivia down to bed at 10. 11 she wakes up screaming so I go in there to console her for about 10 minutes and got her to clam down so I put her back to bed. Then she starts scraming about 1130. So I get up again walk near the door and hear the chimes moving in her room. WHAT?!  They never move...ever!  Then she gets silent.  Ok, she's named after my grandmother (her middle name) and  I have a picture of her in her room too. I just have this feeling my grandmother came to check  on her and left.  There's no other explanation for it.  I just wanted to share.

Re: so I think my grandmother came to visit last night....
My DD is named after her grandmother and I always feel like she is with us.
I have a friend who has lost both her parents and the strangest yet most comforting things happen in her twins room. One time she was hit in the back by the top of a little case that holds the babies first curls. There was nobody in the room except her and the babies in the cribs.
"Just keep swimming, just keep swimming..."
I had an experience like that before with my lil cousin. I was baby sitting and he was about 2 and he was babbling in a room that use to be my grandfathers room before he passed away.
Anywho, as I was getting ready to give him his lunch he asked me - whos that? I was like where? He said whos that (pointing into the room) and I just brushed it off as a child playing. He later on told me the man was nice...I said what man - he said him...and pointed to a picture of my grandfather.
Later I asked my aunt when did she tell my cousin about granddad. She said I havent...I told her what he said and she asked him how did he know the man in the picture was nice...and he said he is always nice to me.
BTW - my grandfather passed away when my cousin was 3 months old - on the day of his christening. We had a few more instances of this happening with my cousin up until he was 4 and then no more after that.
I am waiting on Katie to tell me who she sees from my family who has passed on...I truly believe they do come back - just to check in on us.
Enjoy your grandmother's presence....
I'm a little spooked, but it's so amazing!
