Femara..?

I went in for my CD 12 u/s after my first round of Clomid today.  My eggs still haven't matured to anything special, so doc wants me to come back on CD 19 to see if anything has changed.  He mentioned wanting to switch me to Femara, due to Clomid thinning my uterine lining.

Any of you ladies have success/experience with Femara?

    I'm on my 2nd cycle of Femara.  No success yet, but I have heard so many great things about Femara that I am extremely hopeful.  I haven't had any horrid side effects, so I'm a fan so far.  I'll be even more of a fan when I get PG-LOL!

    Thanks for your response! I think I may take doc's advice and switch.  I didn't have any side effects on the Clomid, but clearly it didn't work and is thinning my lining.  

    I hear you about getting pg...I know I'm fairly new to tttc, but gosh, it's really a let down sometimes...

    I have finsished one round of Femera. I had a major headcahe for about two days but it was far less then what I experinced on Clomid. I had my IUI 7 days ago so I hope that it  works!! Big SmileGL

    Femara worked for DC#1 and I'm on it again.  I had 2 Clomid m/c's and Femara worked for me.  GL!

    I'm sorry to hear about your losses, but happy to hear the Femara worked for you!  GL on ttc #2! Smile

    I did two rounds of Clomid and no luck. Switched to femara and first round I ovulated on my own for the first time in forever. It was a longer cycle (36 days) but getting AF w/o drugs was so exciting.

    I am on 2nd round of Femara now and have CD 15 u/s tomorrow. Crossing fingers that things look good and maybe this will be the month.
