DS is really excited to play with a 6 y/o and a 4 y/o who live in an apartment complex across a wooded area from our house. ? I have no idea why their mother lets them wander that far away from home by themselves, but she does, and they show up when we are outside. ?
They are nice to DS; he loves playing with kids, BUT last night after he was in bed, we heard the same kids outside, but when MH went out to check, they were gone. ?This morning, on our front stoop, we saw Harry's baseball bubble watch-- the bubble was shattered and all the little baseball parts were strewn across our sidewalk.
Would you say anything about it? ?Let the kids come over to play??

Exactly what I would have said. And I agree with the others about bringing everything in at the end of the day.
Do you know for a fact it was them? If not, I would do what this poster said.

Too busy to update the pics for now ...
Ditto this. But do you even know the Mom? I would not let kids be at my house if I did not know for sure their Mom knew they were here. Oh, and definitely put things away at night so no one has a chance to break it. And without seeing them do it you cannot call them out of it to their Mom, only ask them if they did it...but if you saw them there you can ask her if she knew they came over so late.
