I would love 3 but that will only happen if our next attempt is twins. I am 37 and will be 38 when our next child is born (if things go well!). Pregnancy and I did not go very well as I was on bed rest for the entire 3rd tri for High BP and excessive swelling. In addition I had GD and a flare up with my colitis. OB has already said expect about the same for the next one.

I want 3-4 and DH wants 2-3, so I'm guessing we'll end up with 3. We both agree that we'd also like to adopt or be foster parents once our natural born kids are in HS so we may end up with 4-5.
4, we might end up with 5 though since this current baby is going to be another girl. DH wants a boy (my DS is from a previous relationship) so we will try 1-2 more times.
As many as we can handle! We both come from big families and want our own family to be big, but don't want to put a number on it. I don't see us having more than seven though. We will not be the Duggars!
We're thinking two... we don't want to be outnumbered!
I have heard this a billion times and it still strikes me as funny lol. I am not picking on anyone, but I always figured that you are not 'outnumbered' unless your kids are so wild that you can't keep track! Now of course this doesn't count with infants cuz thats diff, but once they are a little older kwim?
wow, lots of big families! i LOVE being a mom, and i cannot imagine having 5 children I don't want years and years between them so i guess what i can't imagine is being pregnant/nursing for the next 5 years straight (as i already have been for nearly 3 years w/o a break)!
anyway, we would like to have 3. i am thrilled with my two so if that's all we end up with, that's ok too.

I could honestly see having 3 or 4 which is crazy for me to say because before we got married I did not want to have any children at all. Now I will have 2 under 2 come this winter.
2, maybe 3. DS is set on 2, but I have already told him I really want to have a girl as well. So if #2 is another boy, I think I may be able to sneak in another one!
I want 3. Mh says that if we get a girl then he wants to be done, but I will probably still want a 3rd. So I at least got him to agree to not make any firm decisions until it came that time.

I think if #2 is a boy, I'll really push for a 3rd, in hopes of having a daughter. ?I'd love 3 boys too, so it would be win-win. ?:) ?If #2 is a girl we might be more inclined to just stop with one of each.?

DH wants 4-5, I am not sure how many I want - Either 2 or 4. I have a thing with even numbers. 2 isn't quite enough, so it will probably be 4. I could be pregnant and give birth 4-5 more times, but it's having 4-5 older kids that freaks me out!
Probably 2 but I'd be happy with just the 1 we have! I am amazed at how many people are saying 4 or 5 or more... that seems like a lot to me... 4 or 5 college tuitions? yikes!
Before TTC I wanted 3-4. When it took 1.5 yrs and IF treatments to conceive DS, I cahnged my mind to 2-3. DS is set on 2 unless they are both boys, then we'll try later for a 3 to "try" for a girl. We will see, I may try to convince him for 3 either way down the road
We've said up to 4 but leaning towards being satisfied with 2. ?We said if we have one of each we'll quit happily but if we have another girl we'll likely go for 3. ?If we have 3 girls, we'll talk at that point.
Re: How many kids do you want?
I think 3. DH says 3 or 4. I guess we'll re-evaluate after the third!

2, maybe 3.
It depends on how #2 is. #3 may be an "accident" down the line. *L*

We'll see. ?I'm the one that has to carry the baby so he told me ultimately I'll get what I want.?
I want just this one. DH wants 2.
Who knows, I may end up wanting another later
