Re: 41weeks and tired of being pregnant...
What does your doc say? I went to 41w and 6 days (13 days "overdue"). Finally they just induced me. I was where you are. I ate ice cream a lot, turned off the phone and tried to occupy myself as best as I could. I was stubborn as hell not to be induced but that's just the way it goes. No it doesn't happen to all first time moms but it does happen often. Due dates are not permanent. Listen to your heart and trust yourself. When you have the real deal, you'll know.?
PS...6 years later, I really have a very vague recollection of the week before I gave birth, believe it or not. This too shall pass!?
Your water breaking is not always the first sign of labor, in fact, for some women their water never breaks on its own. My bloody show was really watery, because my water did break. It was a lot of fluid...a lot. And yes, it did have blood in it.
Unfortunately, I cannot offer advice fpr going past my due date as my labor started two days early and I had my baby on his due date. I was a first time mommy that had my baby on time. But a lot of women go past their due date. That is why the range is between 37 and 42 weeks. Anywhere in this range is a normal pregnancy duration. I hope your LO comes soon. I know it sucks to be pregnant in those last weeks. Hang in there. I am rooting for you!!

With DD I went for a vbac I felt way more pressure and started dilating around 35 weeks...I could definatley feel a difference in my pelvic area and there was much more spliting pain. I ended up having a successful vbac with her and was so glad my induction ended positively vs my first child.
With both kids I had my membranes stripped, did the whole sex thing, walked the Supermall, ate spicy food, drank red rasp leaf tea, used evening primrose oil, rocked on my birthing ball, did nipple stimulation and downed a few pineapples (I tried as many OWT's as I could think of) unfortunatley nothing happened
Good luck and keep us posted!
i think that is totally normal. i can't tell you a mom on here that didn't feel like they couldn't wait a minute longer to meet their little one.?
and about the epidural...make your mind up while you are in the moment. unless you have extremely strong beliefs one way or the other it isn't necessary to decide right now. ?
